Custom Hiring Centres
Community-level equipment pools where smallholders rent power tillers, weeders, seed drills, and laser levellers at a low daily rate — no high upfront capital.
FPOs / FPCs
Groups that aggregate farmers to buy seed and bio-pesticides at wholesale, then sell harvests to bulk buyers — bypassing middleman margins.
KVKs & field schools
On-farm workshops on soil health, climate-smart agriculture, and integrated pest management — the method used by Krishi Vigyan Kendras and agricultural NGOs.
Shet tali & micro-irrigation
Check dams, farm ponds (shet tali), and percolation tanks, with subsidised drip and sprinkler so groundwater holds through a dry year.

Village desks for Kisan Credit Card enrolment, PM-KISAN paperwork, and PMFBY crop-insurance claims during climate distress.
Mahila kisan · SHGs
Training women self-help groups in organic inputs, vermicomposting, and primary post-harvest processing — flour mills and spice units that keep value in the village.
